S$150 per day allowance in the event you’re hospitalised in Singapore due to heatstroke.

What our FREE Heatstroke Insurance covers:


Maximum amount payable


Pays a one-time lump sum benefit if you suffer death solely due to Heatstroke within 3 months from the confirmed diagnosis of heatstroke.



Pays a one-time lump sum benefit if you are hospitalised for 3 consecutive days in Singapore for the sole purpose of treatment of heatstroke.


Daily Hospital Allowance (up to 10 days)

Pays for each complete 24-hour period that you are confined as an in-patient at a Hospital in Singapore for the sole purpose of treatment of heatstroke.

S$150 per day

Eligibility Criteria

  • Limited to the first 10,000 customers.
  • You are entitled to only 1 complimentary Heatstroke Insurance policy with Singlife.
  • You must be between 16 – 70 years old 
  • You are the policyholder who purchased the Singlife Travel Insurance single trip plan from 17 October 2023 – 14 December 2023. 
  • The Singlife Travel Insurance single trip plan must remain in force at the time of issuance of the complimentary Heatstroke insurance policy.
  • You understand that the policy does not cover any claims you are diagnosed with Heatstroke during the waiting period before the policy commences.
  • You have read and understood the summary of insurance coverage relating to this insurance. You are aware of and agree to abide by the Policy terms, conditions and exclusions.

Please note that the complimentary Heatstroke policy will be emailed to you within 30 days from the purchase of the Singlife Travel Insurance single trip plan.

How to make a claim

Make sure to submit your claim within 30 days of the incident or as soon as reasonably possible.

Include as many details of the incident as possible, such as original documents like medical receipts as more details mean faster processing. We will keep you informed if we need other documents beyond receipts.

You'll receive an acknowledgement email from us within 3 working days after your claims submission. If we need further information, we'll get in touch within 30 working days. Once your claim is approved, an email will be sent to you. Your claims payout will be paid within 3 business days via PayNow.


Please ensure that your PayNow account is registered under your NRIC in order to receive the payment successfully. Otherwise, the bank will mail you a physical cheque in 14 business days.

You may get a copy of the Product Summary from Singapore Life Ltd and the participating distributors’ officers. As this product has no savings or investment feature, there is no cash value if the policy ends or if the policy is terminated prematurely. This policy is protected under the Policy Owners’ Protection Scheme which is administered by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation (SDIC).
