Common examples of personal data that we may collect from you, or that you may provide to us, include the following:
When you provide personal data on a third party (e.g. spouse, children, parents), including and not limited to beneficiaries or as a life assured, it is deemed you have obtained their consent to provide to us for a specific purpose.
Generally, Singlife may collect, use, disclose your personal data when it is provided to us by you (or your authorised representative) after you (or your authorised representative) have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and you (or your authorised representative) have provided consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes, or where the collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other laws.
We may collect, use and disclose your personal data for any or all of the following purposes (“Purposes”), depending on the circumstances under which we may need to process your personal data:

As the purposes for which Singlife may collect, use, or disclose your personal data may depend on the circumstances at hand, a particular purpose may not appear in the list of Purposes above. However, we will notify you of such other purpose at the time of obtaining your consent, unless the processing of your personal data without your consent is permitted by the PDPA or other applicable laws.
Please note that, in the course of our business operations, we may be disclosing the personal data you have provided us to our third party vendors, service providers, agents, affiliates, related corporations and/or other third parties whether located in Singapore or outside of Singapore, for one or more of the abovementioned Purposes. Upon receipt of your written request to withdraw your consent, we may require reasonable time (depending on the complexity of the request and its impact on our relationship with you) for your request to be processed and for us to notify you of the consequences of us acceding to the same, including any legal consequences which may affect your rights and liabilities to us. In general, we shall seek to process your request within ten (10) business days of receiving it.
Whilst we respect your decision to withdraw your consent, please note that depending on the nature and scope of your request, we may not be in a position to continue providing our services to you or honour the obligations in relation to any life insurance policy/policies that you may have with us. We will, in such circumstances, notify you before completing the processing of your request. If you decide to cancel your withdrawal of consent following such notification, please inform us in writing or via email to our Data Protection Officer.
