How do I reset my Singlife Login ID and password?

Please follow the "Forgotten Login" or "Forgotten Password" links from the Login screen. This will allow you to retrieve your username and/or receive a link via email to reset your password.
 

How do I change my policy details?

Please complete the Changes to General Insurance form that can be downloaded from the "Support" tab on the website. Then email your request from your registered email address with us, to [email protected].

How do I change my personal particulars?

Please complete the Changes to Personal Particulars form that can be downloaded directly from the "Support" tab on the website. Then email your request from your registered email address with us, to [email protected]. Kindly note that any change in personal particulars is for all policies and accounts held with Singlife.
 

Can I change the start date of my policy?

We’re unable to change the start date of your insurance policy. You may purchase a replacement policy with the correct start date and then inform us to cancel the policy with the incorrect start date. If you need any assistance, please call our hotline at +65 6827 9933, Mondays to Fridays, from 08:45 to 17:30 (excluding public holidays).

What should I do when my car breaks down?

If your car breaks down, simply call our 24-hour helpline number +65 6333 2222 for assistance. We’ll send a representative to you, who will, if possible, repair or restart your car at your location. If they’re unable to repair or restart your car, they’ll arrange (free of charge) to tow your car to the nearest suitable repairer. You’ll however be responsible for the costs of any repair carried out by this repairer. This complimentary benefit does not apply to the Motor Lite Plan.
 

How do I cancel my car insurance policy?

Please complete the Cancellation form that can also be downloaded from the "Support" tab on the website. Then email the request to [email protected].
 

How do you calculate the cancellation refund?

Your cancellation refund will usually be based on short-period rates. You won’t be entitled to a refund if you’ve made a claim, or if there has been an incident likely to give rise to a claim during the current period of insurance.

How do I change or extend my period of insurance to coincide with my road tax?

We’re unable to change the start date of your insurance policy. However, we can extend your cover by up to six months (to coincide with your road tax) upon payment of the applicable premium. It’ll take up to three working days for us to update the LTA records.

How do I renew my vehicle road tax?

You can visit the LTA website to renew your vehicle road tax. Access this information at the following link: https://onemotoring.lta.gov.sg/content/onemotoring/home/owning/ongoing-car-costs/road-tax.html. If you’ve recently purchased a motor policy from us, please note that it will take up to three working days for us to update the LTA records. Any late payment penalty will not be borne by us.

Alternatively, you can engage any LTA-approved agent to renew your road tax. Please remember to bring along your Certificate of Insurance and requisite payment.

What do I do if I want to make a complaint?

Your first point of contact should always be our Customer Services Department. You can email us at [email protected]. We’ll acknowledge receipt of your feedback and if necessary, reach out to you for further information within seven working days.

If you’re dissatisfied with the response, we can refer you to an independent dispute resolution organisation. This would be the Financial Industry Disputes Resolution Centre Ltd (FIDReC).
