What is a Letter of Guarantee (LOG)?

A Letter of Guarantee (LOG) is a letter issued by Singlife to Singapore Government Restructured Hospitals and Private Hospitals  (depending on your policy eligibility) for full or partial waiver of hospital upfront cash deposit that you'll need to pay in the event of hospitalization and/or surgery.

You can obtain an LOG from Singlife to receive this waiver.

The LOG is applicable for hospialisation and surgery. It does not apply to outpatient treatments.

Do note that the claim will still be subject to review by Singlife once it has been submitted after your discharge. If the claim is not payable, Singlife or the hospital will request from you the amount that is not covered under the policy.

Why do I see an LOG function on my Singlife app and/or on the MySinglife portal?

Your company has a direct access to the LOG facility with us. You can request for your LOG by calling the hotline displayed on the Singlife app or the MySinglife portal. Alternatively, you may approach your HR personnel.
