In an unfortunate event that I pass away, how will the death benefit be paid out?

The Nomination of Beneficiaries is applicable for death benefits payable under the Group Term Life and Group Personal Injury plans. In the event where there is no nomination and a Death Claim is made, Singlife will pay the first S$150,000 to the proper claimant. The balance of the Death Benefit will be paid according to the prevailing insurance laws and other relevant laws pertaining to estates of deceased.

Can I claim for hospitalization expenses under Group Term Life policy?

Group Term Life pays in the event of Death, Total Permanent Disablement or Advance Payment Benefit but not for hospitalization expenses. However, this insurance does pay daily hospital cash benefit, for continuous hospital confinement starting from the 11th day of the hospitalization (up to a maximum of 30 days per hospital stay).

If I am insured with Group Term Life policy with Living Care policy, and I am diagnosed with one of the 37 critical illnesses, what will happen to my Group Term Life policy?

If you are diagnosed with one of the 37 critical illnesses and the claim is admitted and paid by Singlife Ltd, the sum assured of your Group Term Life policy will remain unchanged. You may continue with your Group Term Life policy at the prevailing monthly premium rate.
