Get the most out of your Singlife Shield plan
When it comes to searching for a suitable medical specialist, the process can be a tedious one. What type of specialist do I need? Which clinic should I go to? How much will the treatment cost? Will it be covered by my health insurance?
At Singlife, we've made this process easier by curating a panel of medical specialists just for you. What's more, as Singlife Shield policyholders, you can enjoy a myriad of other benefits when you consult with specialists on this panel.
Singlife Shield Plan 2, Singlife Shield Plan 3 and Singlife Shield Standard Plan are not designed to cover expenses incurred with private medical specialists, including those on Singlife’s panel. Hence, the cost of any hospitalisation, surgery or treatment received at these specialist centres under these plans may not be claimable in full.
600+ medical specialists across various disciplines
You can choose from our carefully curated list of medical specialists who are selected based on their professional experience, their reliability to provide quality healthcare services, patient feedback and several other factors.
Enjoy hassle-free appointment booking with us. You can call us, email us or book an appointment directly with our panel specialist online.
You get to enjoy preferred outpatient consultation rates* exclusively for Singlife Shield policyholders.
Higher coverage and benefits
Your annual claim limit will be increased up to S$2,000,000 and you'll get longer pre-hospitalisation and post-hospitalisation coverage. Your co-insurance will also be capped at S$3,000 with your Singlife Shield Plan and Singlife Health Plus.
Certainty of claim outcome
With private panel specialists, you can get pre-approval for non-emergency hospitalisation and medical treatment claims. This assurance means you can focus on recovery without worrying about medical bills.
You can request for pre-approval^ on your medical claims and we'll settle the approved medical fees if you ever require medical treatment at any of our participating private hospitals and clinics.
*Consultation fees for specialists at public hospitals are listed on the respective public hospital website. Patients who make an appointment with a public hospital specialist via Singlife will not be eligible for subsidised rates.
^Pre-approval is available for Singlife Shield customers when you visit a private medical specialist from our panel.
