^{^}Applicable from 1 April 2026 to existing policyholders who renew their Singlife Shield and Health Plus, and Singlife CareShield or ElderShield policies, as well as new customers who purchase Singlife Shield and Health Plus with Singlife CareShield or ElderShield, or as an add-on if you already hold any of these plans.

We will cover the charges the life assured has to pay for:

• Home personal care services provided by trained care professionals to provide the life assured with nursing care at home, such as wound dressing and changing of feeding tubes; and

• Rehabilitation services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy that support the life assured’s recovery of functional abilities after discharge.

Recovery support services provided where the life assured is diagnosed and hospitalised due to a psychiatric condition are excluded.
We will pay the recovery support benefit up to the number of days after the life assured is discharged as an inpatient, as shown in the benefits schedule, if:

• The charges are for necessary medical treatment arising directly from the injury or illness for which the life assured was admitted as an inpatient;

• The life assured is the life assured of a Singlife Shield and Health Plus policy;

• The life assured is also the life assured of a Singlife CareShield Standard / Plus or Singlife ElderShield Standard / Plus policy;

• The Singlife CareShield Standard / Plus or Singlife ElderShield Standard / Plus policy is in force throughout the claimable period for this benefit; and

• The life assured is certified by a Doctor or Specialist as severely disabled and eligible to claim for the Severe Disability Benefit under the life assured’s Singlife CareShield Standard / Plus or Singlife ElderShield Standard / Plus policy.
