At Singlife, we regularly review our Integrated Shield plans and riders to ensure they continue to meet your medical and hospitalisation needs for the long run.
As such, we’ve revised the benefits and premiums of our Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus plans.
Effective from 1 September 2024, Singlife Health Plus1 policies will offer additional coverage for cancer drug treatments listed on the Cancer Drug List (CDL), supplementing the existing 5x MediShield Life (MSHL) limit available under Singlife Shield plans, and provide higher coverage for cancer drug treatments not listed on the CDL.
For existing policies, the enhancements will apply upon renewal from 1 Sep 2024.
Footnotes
1The additional 15x MSHL limit per month applies to these plans:
2The cancer drug treatment benefit limit is based on a multiple of the MediShield Life claim limit for the specific cancer drug treatment. Please refer to the Cancer Drug List / CDL on the Ministry of Health (MOH) website: https://go.gov.sg/moh-cancerdruglist for the MediShield Life claim limit on the applicable cancer drug treatment. MOH may update the CDL from time to time.
3The 15x MSHL limit per month under Singlife Health Plus plans will be on top of the 5x MSHL limit per month under Singlife Shield policies.
Due to rising healthcare costs with the advancement in medical technology and the surge in medical claims, we’ve adjusted some of the premiums of Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus. Our aim is to ensure you continue to receive comprehensive protection at sustainable prices.

Singlife Shield Plan 1
The premium adjustment to Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus policies will take effect from 1 September 2024. To help moderate premium changes for policyholders as they increase in age, premiums are no longer based on age group.
As a policyholder, you’ll receive a premium notification letter from us at least 40 days before your policy renewal date.
The premium adjustment will affect these plans:
Singlife Shield Plan 2, Plan 3, Starter and Standard Plan
We’re pleased to inform you that there will be no changes in premiums for Singlife Shield Plan 2, Plan 3, Starter and Standard Plan, and their respective Singlife Health Plus riders. This means you can continue to enjoy the same great value.
Additionally, as a Plan 2 or Plan 3 policyholder, you'll now benefit from enhanced coverage that includes additional coverage for cancer drug treatment under Singlife Health Plus. With this access to essential treatments at the same affordable premiums, you’ll have even greater peace of mind and financial protection in times of need.
