Empowering Financial Literacy and Wealth Planning for All

Singlife was the platinum sponsor of the second edition of CIMB’s InsureXpo,  held on 11 and 12 April 2025 at Suntec City Convention Centre. Welcoming over 3,000 attendees under the theme “From Protection to Prosperity,” the event highlighted the shared commitment  to empower Singaporeans on their journey toward financial freedom through accessible financial literacy and wealth planning solutions.

Redefining Insurance: Singlife at InsureXpo 2025

Singlife’s presence at InsureXpo 2025 was anchored on vision to shift public perception of insurance from a reactive safety net to a proactive financial enabler. Through interactive showcases and thought leadership, Singlife demonstrated how insurance can support short-term savings, retirement planning, and legacy creation—especially for educators, undergraduates, the sandwich generation, and pre-retirees navigating key life transitions.

At our booth, visitors gained valuable insights into building financial security at every life stage through the Singlife Milestone Map. The showcase also featured our embedded insurance solutions, integrated insurance into everyday platforms like HR tech, payroll systems, and investment tools - gamifying financial planning and creating shared value for both partners and customers.

Visitors also put their agility to the test with our "Wealth Reflex Challenge," where each button to be tapped represented a key aspect of financial management. We were honoured to have Minister of State, Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth and Ministry of Trade & Industry, Alvin Tan participate enthusiastically in the challenge.

At the event, our Head of Distribution Innovation, Varun Mittal, discussed the role of strategic partnerships in shaping the future of insurance, enabling more personalised and holistic support for individuals and families.

Singlife representatives also contributed to insightful panel discussions. Group Head of Products, Helen Shen, emphasised the critical importance of approaching insurance with a “lifetime affordability” perspective. Head of Distribution Sales, Sandeep Nair discussed how insurance can serve as a catalyst in accelerating an individual’s progress towards financial independence.

Additionally, Senior Vice President, Business Development, Employee Benefits, Bryan Teow led a breakout session highlighting the significant role of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs, in today’s competitive employment landscape.

Strengthening the Singlife - CIMB Partnership

Singlife’s partnership with CIMB at InsureXpo 2025 reflected our shared commitment to deliver innovative, customer-centric financial solutions, and empower Singaporeans on their journey to financial freedom.

This collaboration was further strengthened at Singlife Connect 3.0, our in-house accelerator programme. As part of the programme, the CIMB Showcase Contest invited startups and SMEs to pitch solutions aligned with CIMB’s strategic roadmap. Winning teams will receive complimentary booths at InsureXpo 2026, providing greater visibility and fostering cross-sector innovation. The contest evaluated entries based on customer relevance, innovation, bundling potential, and alignment with CIMB’s wealth and insurance strategy – reinforcing Singlife’s role as a catalyst for ecosystem-driven growth.
