1) Deductible (maximum S$3,500/year)
The deductible is the amount you have to pay per policy year before Singlife will cover your hospital bill. The amount depends on the type of hospital and class of ward.
2) Co-insurance (10% of the remaining bill)
This is the amount you have to pay on the claimable amount after the deductible.
Choose from two Singlife Health Plus riders that gives the healthcare cover you prefer. You will be entitled to the same hospital/ward type that you have selected for your Singlife Shield plan.

*As charged refers to the eligible expenses incurred by the Life Assured which is subject to pro-ration, deductible, co-insurance, policy year limit, admission of ward class and other policy terms.
Important Notes regarding Additional Premium Support (APS) policy
Anyone who pays for, or is insured under Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus, is not eligible for Additional Premium Support (APS) from the Government^.
If you are currently receiving APS to pay for your MediShield Life and/or CareShield Life premiums, and you choose to be insured under Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus, you will stop receiving APS. This applies even if you are not the person paying for the premium(s). In addition, if you choose to be insured under Singlife Shield and Singlife Health Plus, the person paying for the premium(s) will stop receiving APS, if he or she is currently receiving APS.
^APS is for families who need assistance with MediShield Life and/or CareShield Life premiums, even after receiving premium subsidies and making use of MediSave to pay for these premiums.
